SPECIAL SECRETARIATS & BROADER ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTORATES
Each administrative region of HAPSC has a Special Secretariat of three members that all belong to the respective administrative region. The Special Secretariat of each administrative region has executive power and falls under the control of the Board of Directors and the President. They are directed by a Special Secretariat Coordinator and two Deputy Coordinators. Their main institutional role is the coordination of the members of each administrative region aiming to the smooth function of the regional departments of HAPSc. The Special Secretariats are supervised by two high supervising authorities which belong to the list of members of the respective administrative region. The Special Secretaries are appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors upon the agreement of the rest of the members of the Board.
Upon President’s decision and the agreement of the Board of Directors, broader Directorates may be established in the various administrative regions with the purpose of coordinating the smaller administrative areas that they fall within their authority along with their special secretariats.
