Ο Ελληνικός Οργανισμός Πολιτικών Επιστημόνων (Ε.Ο.Π.Ε. - H.A.P.Sc.) ιδρύθηκε το 2008 από πολιτικούς επιστήμονες με στόχο τη δημιουργία ενός δίαυλου επιπλέον εκπαίδευσης πέραν των ακαδημαϊκών προγραμμάτων σπουδών, μέσω της εθελοντικής προσφοράς εργασίας, καθώς και την ενίσχυση και ανάδειξη του ρόλου του Πολιτικού Επιστήμονα σε τοπικό, περιφερειακό και διεθνές επίπεδο. Αποτελεί Αστικό Επιστημονικό – Επαγγελματικό Σωματείο μη κερδοσκοπικού χαρακτήρα.

HAPSc about us

The Hellenic Association of Political Scientists (HAPSc) was founded in 2008 by political scientists with the aspiration of creating an alternative channel for additional education beyond academic curricula.

Educational Programs

We are constantly building on an evolving environment of educational programs and traineeships for young political scientists and students from related fields, aiming to the advancement of their skills.

Analysis-Synthesis

We support and give prominence to group or/and individual scientific piece of work written by recognized scientist or/and our members.

HAPSc in Greece and Cyprus

The main functional departments of HAPSc are established all around Greece as well as in Cyprus. The departments of Thessaloniki, Komitini, Corinth, Crete island and Rhodes island, in the Greek territory, share collective objectives responding to the visions of HAPSc and contributing to its smooth operation.

HAPSc at the International Level

HAPSc gradually develops its presence abroad. The Association has a department in the USA and two in Europe, while it is also active in those cities abroad, where members of the Association live. live. Τhe main purpose behind the establishment of the offices of HPASc in New York and Geneva is the representation of the Association and the Greek Civil Society to the United Nations.

International Networking of Political Scientist

One of our main visions is the networking of political scientists nationally and internationally, aiming to strengthen knowledge exchange and to formulate interdisciplinary and pluralistic approaches to Political Science through scientific debate.
